We came across the story of Curtis Perrin in the book “The Professional”. He is a driver who operates a shuttle bus between the train and parking lot somewhere near Philadelphia. The job is to wait for the train every hour, and take the passengers from the train to the parking lot. For most it would be an excruciatingly boring job.
However, Perrin’s demeanor and behavior reflect anything but
boredom. He enthusiastically greets every passenger that boards the bus,
remembers the car of each passenger and takes them to their specific car
instead of leaving them at the gate of the parking lot, and bids them well
while leaving. No doubt the passengers love him and many a times get him
something from wherever they have been to. Who doesn’t like having such
delightful people in life!
The love/compassion/positivity put into every action makes a
huge difference. We love this idea at Finwisor and strive to incorporate it in
everything.
Love for clients
We love it if we are able to help.
Love for employees
It’s a little odd for us to write employees since that’s not
how we perceive those working with us. We work as a happy family. We love each
other and it flows in the form of help, appreciation, encouragement, respect, and
all other gestures.
As the first gesture of love, we try to welcome those new to
the family. We give him a daily routine to follow which is described in detail here.
This is so that he too can realise his full potential and be happy and loving.
The routine becomes a lasting gift which goes well beyond the stint at Finwisor
for Interns.
#FinwisorFamilyForever is a thing!
Love for competitors
Really! Who loves their competitors?!
We do 😊 Frankly we don’t see them as competitors in
the first place. They are seen as peers who share are trying to solve the same
problem as us. If helpful, we learn from them or collaborate. If not, we
co-exist. There is room for enough players in the market. There is no need to
have a cut-throat relationship. We wish them good fortune.
Love for everyone
We love everyone in general. We started sharing our
knowledge openly and freely though our articles to help everyone. While it became
a substantial time investment for us, we are glad that it helped so many
readers.
An extention of this is that a substantial part of Finwisor’s
earnings goes to those who need it the most in the form of charity.
Who can we hate!?
Simple answer. No one. When you hate, or in conventional
terms become indiferrent to anyone, you harm yourself. No one is happy around
the person they hate. So, why would you do that!? When your love is blocked
towards one, it automatically detrimentally impacts your relation with others
too. Your mood becomes off and often stays off with the help of your loop
thinking. You become irritable. Sometimes you may snapp at co-workers,
sometimes at your friends and family. All this is best avoided. Love all!!
What about that XYZ Jackass who for no reason is irritating us!
While some people do get to our nerves, in our best times,
we are able to let that go. Similar to when Jesus Christ said “O Lord!
Forgive them for they know not what they do!” This doesn’t mean you don’t
take any action and suppress your irritation. Take action where required, but
do it out of compassion for the poor soul who has no better thing to do than
irritate you. The karmic theory is a treasure trove which will help you
understand this reaction the best and do it with conviction. To keep things short, I am not going into
the depth of it here.
No expectations
Focus on the emotions not the actions
Doing something good without the corresponding feeling of
love is like giving a gift wrapped box with nothing inside.
The magic lies in the emotions with which something is done.
So take care of being in the state of love at all times and your actions by
default will flow in accordance.
What do I get for all of this love!?
What do you want in life? – Happiness.. isn’t it!? You may call it by different names – Satisfaction, Love, Positivity, Pleasure, etc
